St. Joseph Figure Skating Club of St. Joseph, Missouri, Silver Blades Figure Skating Club of Kansas City, and Line Creek Figure Skating Club of Kansas City in a joint effort have organized the "Mid-West Figure Skating Council, Inc". The purpose of the Council is the promotion of figure skating and all activities connected with it. One of the future plans of the Council will be to invite additional Figure Skating Clubs from the surrounding area and surrounding states to join the Council.
